The special was ham, eggs and hash browns. Why would it come with a big orange segment? Whatever, it was an OK breakfast.

We set off for Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, much earlier than we had been getting on the road, feeling pleasantly warm. We aimed for Greeley, CO, down the 85. from where we would cut across to the Rockies on the 34 through Loveland and Estes Park, then through the Rocky Mountains National Park to Granby.
Just before Greeley, we stopped at Full Moon Customs, in Eaton, Colorado, looking for some crash bars for my bike The.guy in the shop didn't have any but he gave me a tank top as a souvenir. Thanks Man and a big up to Full Moon Customs, Eaton, Colorado, 970.454.8710.
All day, the riding had been cooler, as we were climbing most of the time. It was getting cooler and cooler as we drove nearer to the mountains. We found the Big Thompson River and Thompson Canyon
Th views in the foothills were great, but by the time you stopped to get a pic, they'd gone. So here are some:to show we were there:
Stopped to put rain gear on
The rain didn't come to much, but I kept my suit on as it was getting cooler the higher we were.
We entered the National Park and paid $10 for the privilege. I really loved the road over the mountains but Kev really hated it.
Can you see the Chipmunk?
Sloopy's Grill, Grand Lake, where we were waited on by two very vivacious inbetweenies
Tonight staying in an absolute shithole that is stupidly dear, but .................. me blog's up to date!
